Young stars are shining so bright in Wigan

2 young stars of the future are shining so bright here in wigan and its so refreshing to see. Si jiahui and Sean Maddocks are now only two matches away from realising their dreams of playing on snooker’s biggest stage.
Before this q school event had begun howeveryoulikebreak.com had spoken to Victoria who runs a snooker academy in Sheffield city centre and she told me about Si Jiahui and said ” he is only 16 but he is so talented and goes for everything and when he gets going he is something special to watch”, Well she definitely got that right because this lad is a really special and the sky is the limit for him. Si has blown away all four of his opponents so far without dropping a frame and he will take some serious stopping in this form.
Snookerfans.co.uk player Sean Maddocks continues to impress with back to back victories over former tour player’s Chen Zifan and the experienced Barry Pinches. Sean will face Hamza Akbar for a place in the final qualifying round to win a 2 year tour card.
Former English amateur champion David Lilley also continues his fine form with two excellent wins over Adam Duffy and Rodion Judin. Lilley spoke to howeveryoulikebreak.com reporter Curtis Braithwaite and said ” I’m desperate to finally get on the tour and give it a real crack, I’ve been in events as a top up but to earn my tour card outright is my dream and i know I’m good enough i just have to handle the pressure better than I’ve done in the past.
There was also solid wins for former tour player’s Xu Si, Ian Preece and Micheal Wild.
