Barnsley Metrodome is hosting the BetVictor Scottish Open 2021 Qualifiers which runs until the 29th September . We see 80 players competing during the Qualifying matches.
The current Champion is Mark Selby who will be the defending champion, as he defeated Ronnie O’Sullivan 9–3 in the 2020 final . Selby who we will see returning to the table to defend his title with the Scottish Open commencing on the 6th to 12th December 2021 at Venue Cymru, in Llandudno, Wales. Originally, the tournament was planned to take place at the Emirates Arena, in Glasgow. However, a “contractual issue” meant that the event had to be relocated to another venue
There is also a winners cheque for £70,000 so pressure will be on to qualifier to the next round .
