So today is the first day of the finals where we see two of the Worlds best players Mark Selby & Shaun Murphy meet to see who will be crowned the 2021 World Champion .

They first met today at 1pm where they were in the best of 35 frames plus still at the top of the centuries leader board is Shaun Murphy with his 144 score . We are hoping to see if any player will achieve a 147 over the next couple of days at the Finals .

With both players at the very top of their game and we know the next couple of days we are going to witness an exhilarating final.

With this afternoons match which commenced at 1pm we saw Murphy take a strong lead over Murphy by 5-3 When they returned to the table at 7pm with Selby managing to secure the few extra frames to get ahead of Murphy and by the close of play tonight the score was 10-7 over Murphy .

So tomorrow the excitement continues for last day of the finals we see Shaun Murphy meet Mark Selby again.   Play commences again at 1pm and this is truly going to be a Bank Holiday Monday one player will not forget walking away with the 2021 World Champion Crown but also the £500,000 winners cheque.
