Today we see the start of the Quarter finals which sees 8 players competing over the next few days in the best of 25 frames .

We also see at the top of the centuries leader board being Shaun Murphy with his 144 score . Fingers crossed we will see a 147 before the final match on the 3rd May , there is a great incentive on top of achieving this being the £40,000 prize on offer .

We have gone from 128 players to the last 8 and all players will be hoping to dig deep to ensure that they secure the valuable frames needed to get them through to the next stage being the Semi finals as there is huge amount of money available to players reaching the Semi’s being £100,000 each.
