The fantastic four

Xu Si regained his tour card in outstanding fashion roaring back from 2-0 down to beat fellow Chinese prospect Wang Zepeng 4-2.
Zepeng started the better of the two winning the first two frames in dominant style aided by 3 breaks of 40 plus but it was Xu Si who stamped hia class on the match by firing in breaks of 52, 69 ,76 and 137 to book an immediate return to snooker’s top table.

Former world amateur champion Sohail Vahedi also made an immediate return to the professional tour with a 4-2 victory over Ross Bulman. Sohail performed solidly throughout event 1 and here’s what he had to say to howeveryoulikebreak.comreporter Curtis Braithwaite.

After 20 years of trying David Lilley finally won himself a tour card. Lilley who is one of the most decorated amateurs to play our great game having won the English amateur title on multiple occasions was overjoyed at finally becoming a professional player and here’s what he had to say to howeveryoulikebreak.com reporter Curtis Braithwaite.

Jamie O’Neil regained his pro status after 8 year’s in the amateur ranks. O’Neil has always had the ability to mix it on tour but through lack of dedication he’s fallen short but with a new found work ethic he came to Wigan and put in a string of impressive performances to get back to snooker’s top table and here’s what he had to say to howeveryoulikebreak.com reporter Curtis Braithwaite.

Event 1 was filled with drama and tension and many of the fancied player’s fell at an early stage and it was evident the pressure they were under and it will be intriguing to see how event 2 unfolds.

A massive shout out to howeveryoulikebreak.com sponsored player Sean Maddocks who dazzled the watching fans with his fearless long potting and attacking play and we are so proud of the maturity and class he showed under immense pressure and will be a star of the future for sure.
