Scotland’s Pool Hot Shots

Snookerfans.co.uk would like to wish Scott Gillespie and Jamie Burnett the best of luck at this weekends Supreme Pool Masters series held at Stoke On Trent.

Both will be sporting the Snookerfans logo and wiping down their cues with our personalised cue towels. 

Many of you snookerfans will know Burnett for making the highest ever break in professional snooker in the 2004 UK Championships with a 148 being awarded a free ball at the start of the frame against Leo Fernandez.

During his 25 years as a pro Burnett got to two ranking event finals losing out narrowly to Ali Carter in the 2010 Shanghai Masters final as after battling back from 3-0 down he lost the decider 4-3 to Neil Robertson in the Gdynia Open. For those of you that watch 8 ball pool you will recognise Scott Gillespie, widely regarded as the best pool player in the world ‘Goobs’ as he is known to his friend’s cemented this when he completed his career ambition by becoming the 2018 World Champion.

He also WON 2 out of the 5 supreme pool series events last year with the strongest field to ever compete in any pool tournament. You can follow both guys progress this weekend starting Friday 5th of April via YouTube searching Supreme pool series.
