Rocket ready for lift off

Ronnie O’Sullivan gets his 2019 Crucible campaign under way today as he takes on the first amateur ever to compete at the Crucible James Cahill.

Cahill came through 3 brutal qualifying matches and now faces the toughest test of his career on snooker’s biggest stage.

Cahill told howeveryoulikebreak.com reporter Emma Maflin ” I have absolutely nothing to lose and yes I’ll be nervous but I’m on cloud 9 and i just want to soak it all up and enjoy the experience”.

It’s been 6 year’s since the Rocket last lifted the title and he will be looking to start strong as he is in the tougher half of the draw with a potentially mouth watering last 16 match against Stephen Maguire awaiting him if he can get past Cahill.
