Llandudno saw pure excitement in the finals between Robert Milkins and Shaun Murphy on Sunday 19th February.

After the afternoon session we saw both players on 4 all with Shaun Murphy holding the only 147 of the Tournament .

Once the evenings play commenced Milkins wanted to ensure he secured the vital frames needed in the best of 17 frames and he did not disappoint winning by 9-7 to secure the Trophy and Title of the 2023 Betvictor Welsh Open, his second ranking title.

We saw Milkins claim not only the first prize of £80,000 but a £150,000 bonus for topping the BetVictor Series ranking list, which has run across eight events since July 2022.
