QUARTER FINAL REVIEW -CAZOO UK CHAMPIONSHIP

Elite sports management player Barry Hawkins cruised into the semi finals with a 6-1 victory over Andy Hicks. Hawkins a heavy favourite for the match raced into a 4-0 lead with some excellent tough match play snooker and quickly wrapped up victory after the interval and will now face the super talented Zhao Xingtong for a place in Sunday’s final.

Barry spoke to his manager Curtis Braithwaite after the match and said “ I’m delighted to be in the semis as it’s been a very lean time for me over the last 2 years and my confidence has taken a battering but I arrived in York with a positive mind and I’m feeling good about my game so it’s all about staying focused and playing the way I know I can and I’ll be fine. It’s gonna be a real tough match against Zhao and I’m looking forward to it.

Kyren Wilson gained revenge against Ronnie O’Sullivan with a final frame victory sealed with a magnificent century.
