Today sees the inaugural Turkish Masters Tournament and this is the very first time that a professional Snooker Ranking event has been staged in Turkey.
The tournament was originally scheduled to take place in 2021, but the World Snooker Tour postponed it until March 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2021 Turkey wildfires.
Players have been excited to see what the tournament has to offer with not only the Trophy and title to play for but a winners cheque for £100,000 up for grabs .
