The Sangsom Six-red World Championship in Bangkok starts tomorrow Monday 2nd – Saturday 7th September. Kyren Wilson aka The Warrior is the reigning champion, he defeated Ding Junhui 8-4 in the final last year. He will be fighting to keep his champion status and to lift the trophy for a second year running. His first group match will be against Scotlands Anthony McGill.
This six-red snooker tournament is played with the six colour balls and six reds and was first held in the 2008/09 season known as the Six-red Snooker International.
The forty-eight players will battle it out over the next six days in the hope of adding their name to the winners list and take home the 2019 trophy.
