Wilson fired in 4 centuries and 7 other breaks of 50 plus to earn the biggest payday of his career (£100,000) and a place in the one table setup at the mecca of snooker. John Higgins is through to yet another Crucible semifinal after a 13-10 victory over Neil Robertson. Higgins rolled back the year’s firing in counter clearances at will to defy the man in form and is a firm favourite to make another Crucible final.
