Day three of Round 1 we see another 12 players looking to compete today to enable them to have an opportunity to go onto Round 2

Players are competing in the best of 19 frames .

At the top of the centuries leader board is Kyren Wilson with his 139 score.

During this afternoons matches we saw Tian Pengfei who was 4-3 ahead of John Higgins at the start of play . We then saw John Higgins pull everything he could out of the bag with a final match result being 10-7. This then enables Higgins to move forward to Round 2 .

Anthony McGill started this evenings play at 5 -4 over Ricky Walden. The match which took just under 2 1/2hours saw McGill secure his place in Round 2 with tonight’s win 10- 5 over Walden.

Also this evening we also saw at the start of play Gary Wilson was 5-4 over Kyren Wilson .The scores soon changed with Kyren Wilson winning 10-8 against Gary Wilson achieving the final 6 frames needed to secure his place in Round 2.
