Today we see the start of the CAZOO 2023 Masters .

The Tournament is taking place from 8 to 15 January 2023 at Alexandra Palace in London.

We see 16 of the Worlds Top players in the snooker world rankings as they stood after the UK Championship .

We saw the defending champion Neil Robertson looking to not only secure the Title , Trophy and the cheque for £250,000 at this years Tournament but sadly today was not his day as Shaun Murphy had managed to secure the critical frames needed to move forward onto the next round..

There are however a couple of changes to the players competiting we no longer see Yan Bingtao and Zhao Xintong at the competition Yan will be replaced by David Gilbert and Zhao is being replaced by Hossein Vafaei, will be the first Iranian player to compete in the Masters tournament.
