Today we saw the first of 32 players competing at Milton Keynes for the best of 11 frames to reach the next level

Last year it was won by Ding Junhui and we look forward to seeing him compete on the 26th November against Jamie Curtis-Barrett to retain the trophy .

With a prize fund of £200,000 cheque for the winner we know every player will be bringing everything they have to reach the final.

We saw Mark Selby deliver 140 against Michael White today and is now sitting at the top of the Centuries leader board.

It will all commence again tomorrow with another 32 players at 9am with Luca Brecel competing against Lei Peifan.
