We have seen some amazing performances and some shock results with a large number of Top players such as Selby , Murphy , White , Bingham ,Wenbo, Hawkins, Doherty , Hendry & Allen to name just a few being knocked out of The British Open .  

Spectators have witnessed some spectacular players competing at Morningside Arena in Leicester and are enjoying being back at live tournaments and there is another 3 full days of matches as the British Open .

We see Higgins retain the top spot with his 147 Century break during the tournament .

Again a number of original players who won the tournament previously are also through to the next round including John Higgins & Mark Williams

All matches up to the last 16 are best of five frames, the quarter and semi-finals are best of seven frames, and the final is best of 11 frames.

With a winners cheque of £100,000 there is going to be stiff competition to reach the finals which takes place on the 22nd August.
