Day five of Round 1 , we see another 12 players looking to compete today to enable them to have an opportunity to go onto Round 2

Players are competing in the best of 19 frames .

At the top of the centuries leader board is Mark Selby with his 142 Score.

During this afternoon matches we saw Judge Trump who was 7-2 ahead of Liam Highfield at the start of play following on from yesterday match . The game developed quickly with Trump securing the 3 frames needed to win 10-4 over Highfield which guaranteed his place in Round 2.

At the start of evening play Barry Hawkins was 3 frames ahead of Mathew Selt with his 6-3 lead from yesterday match. Tonight we saw Hawkins bring something extra to the table to secure all 4 frames in straight succession for his 10-3 win over Selt. We now see him move onto Round 2 after his win .

Also this evening we also saw at the start of play Mark Williams compete against Sam Craigie, which saw Williams 5-4 frames over Craigie from this morning matches . We then saw Williams play with exceptional skill to secure the next 5 frames straight to secure his 10-4 win over and then ensure his place in Round 2
