We have seen the last set of 64 players competing in the second round .
Sadly the reigning champion Michael Holt’s dreams of reaching the final was ended today in his match against Matthew Stevens who won 1-0 .
The Shoot out has a unique set of rules compared to normal tournaments being matches lasting a maximum of 10 minutes and a shot clock of 15 seconds for the first 5 minutes and then reduces to 10 seconds for the last 5.
This continues to make for a lot of pressure on players who are all hoping to reach the final in the hope of winning the £50,000 cheque.
Mark Allen is still top of the Centuries board with the only century break so far of the tournament with his 142 .
It all continues tomorrow in the final day of matches starting at 1pm in Milton Keynes.
