Former world amateur champion Kurt Maflin got his season off to a solid start with a 4-1 victory over German professional Simon Litchenberg. Maflin started the match in excellent style stroking in a wonderful century and built on that lead by taking the second frame in quick succession. James Cahill (pictured below) continues to impress as he powered past Jimmy White by a 4-0 scoreline in a dominant display.
