Former World Seniors Champion Peter Lines aims to return to snooker’s top table after being relegated from the professional tour at the end of last season.
Peter caught up with howeveryoulikebreak.com reporter Curtis Braithwaite and said ” Last season was a really tough one for me, I had a few really good wins over the likes of Stuart Bingham, John Higgins and Jack Lisowski and also reached the semi finals of the Paul Hunter Classic but i also threw away so many matches from winning positions and that’s really disappointing. I also really struggled focusing on my matches as my son Oliver played at the same time as me on many occasions and as a father you can’t help but wonder what’s happening with his match and being anxious about his results too but im not one for making excuses and the reality is that my results were not good enough and that’s why im here at Q school”.
Peter has been a long time friend to us at howeveryoulikebreak.com and we will be hoping he makes an immediate return because not only will the tour be missing a very fine match player it’ll also be missing a great character and role model for the youngsters taking up our great game.
