BINGHAM BATTLING THROUGH BAD PATCH

Stuart Bingham vows to battle through his recent poor run and come back strong in the business end of the season.
For a player of Stuart’s undoubted class it’s been a very mediocre start to the season with early exits in the German and European masters along with a first round defeat in the English open but Stuart is looking to bounce back with a strong end to the year in next week’s champion of champions followed by the UK championship at the iconic Barbican arena in York.

Stuart caught up with However you like to break reporter Curtis Braithwaite at the recent English open and spoke about his form and said “ I’ve been practicing really hard with my coach Gary Filtness and also getting plenty of match practice with some top class practice partners so I know I’m doing all the right things I just have to stay positive and play through this patch. I’ve been around long enough and experienced pretty much everything that this game can throw at you and it’s important that I keep believing and I’ll turn my form around. I’ve managed to sneak into the champion of champions and face the toughest test of all against Ronnie O’Sullivan but I’m looking forward to it and relish the challenge”.

Stuart has been put into a very tough group in next weeks champion of champions as he also has John Higgins and Ding Junhui in what has been called the group of death so it promises to be fantastic viewing with every match worthy of a final.

We wish Stuart a fantastic second half of the season and as we all know the class act he is we fully expect him to bounce back into the winners enclosure.
