What an amazing Bank Holiday Monday.

So today is the last day of the finals where we saw Mark Selby & Shaun Murphy competing for the World Championship Crown.

They continued play today at 1pm where Selby started the match 10-7 over Murphy .

Both players were competing in the best of 35 frames it will be the first player to get to 18 frames which we will see one of them lift the Betfred World Championship Trophy.

By the end of this afternoons play Selby was in lead with his 14-11 score over Murphy .

Selby & Murphy resumed their match at 7pm this evening and with both players delivering everything they could to secure the most needed frames. Murphy clawed back the much needed frames to reduced Selby’s lead. We then saw Selby winning the 4 valuable frames in less than 31/2 hours which he needed to be crowned the 2021 Betfred World Champion. The Final score being 18-15

This is Selbys Fourth Crucible World title having lifted the trophy in 2014, 2016 , 2017and now 2021 and also the cheque £500,000.
